Life/Style: Soleil Moon Frye’s Eco Baby Store

Here is a great thing for Los Angeleno parents: an eco-friendly baby store. Who doesn’t want chemical free options for crayons, nursery paint, furniture, and bedding as well as a whole host of other interesting items?
The store, called The Little Seed, is at 219 Larchmont Blvd., Larchmont Village, right around the corner from The Style Editor headquarters, and is co-owned by Punky Brewster star Soleil Moon Frye, who has a two-year-old daughter, Poet (you expected a “normal” name?), as well as another baby on the way.
With the online store just launched, parents from all over the world can check out these eco-wares at www.thelittleseed.com. The store carries organic toys from Zid Zid and Nui Organic blankets as well as Orbit baby strollers and a host of other items. Definitely worth a jaunt for all of our conscientious Los Angeles shoppers!
Editor’s note: I recently stopped by the store since I was writing an article for a Los Angeles publication, and Soleil was there and couldn’t have been nicer. She and her partners are really committed to offering parents a great selection of products as well as raising awareness about how to live a cleaner, greener lifestyle. Very hip, very approachable, very friendly. An all-around lovely baby store.
