ANSWER
Steer away from powder blushes for the summer. Try either a liquid blush or a gel blush to get that flushed look you are going for. Sweep it across the apples of your cheeks, working quickly so the pigment doesn’t set in unevenly. The liquid Tarte goes on with a little brush, and the one bottle will last forever. Pinch Your Cheels is a gel and is swept on with your fingertips. The little tube will also be in your makeup drawer for a long time.
Start with a small amount and highlight the lower curve of your cheek to create that apple-y effect. You’ll get the hang of it pretty quickly and will be able to achieve the natural, sweet look.
