Q&A: Bumps On My Arms
By TheBeautyEditor | August 7, 2007
Q. Dear Beauty Editor:
I have pretty nice skin, but I do get these bumps on the backs of my thighs and the backs of my upper arms. I have tried everything to get these to go away, including exfoliating with many, many different products. Do you have any other ideas on how to get rid of the bumps on my arms???
A. Never fear! A quick search over at DermaDoctor.com yielded the following product description:
“Keratosis Pilaris (KP) is a common skin disorder, typified by “chicken skin” bumps on upper arms, thighs, torso, buttocks and occasionally the cheeks. Excess skin forms around individual hair follicles, creating the characteristic minute, rough, grater-like bumps.”
Sound familiar? Luckily DermaDoctor also offers a solution to the problem: a super-hydrating formula complete with glycolic acid and urea to really get under your skin and get rid of those bumps.
