    Haven’t we all just gotten a little blase about air travel? And why not, right? Flights are uncomfortable, security is challenging, and who wants to be glamorous on a plane? Well, back in the day, air travel was nothing but the height of glamour and luxury.     Snazzy, huh? But if that is a little rich for your blood (what does that saying mean, anyway?), then look for real vintage train cases on your shopping favorite and ours: eBay.

     

    eBay has a great selection of real vintage train cases, from Samsonite and Tourister among other brands, most starting between $.99 and $9.99 and ultimately selling for way under $50. A quick search yielded white, red, burgundy, brown, green, yellow, and blue options. And when you aren’t carrying one on an airplane, it doubles as a great jewelry box/ display case, because once you find something this pretty, you shouldn’t hide it away in between trips!
