Enjoying the ’80s trend that is still going strong? Looking for some fresh, flattering updates so you don’t feel like you just stepped into Pretty in Pink? (And can I ask why there is only one song playing for the duration of the prom in that film? Don’t get me wrong, I love OMD’s “If You Leave,” but seriously, how long is that song?)
Anyway, in keeping with the ’80s redux, but mindful that not everyone has their ’80s figure, here is a cute outfit that shows off the legs and is cut with a modern silhouette that is very figure flattering. Pair with fishnets or black tights. (Yes, black tights with a white dress! Try it, you’ll like it!) The Art Deco necklace mixes it up a little, and the patent heels continue to accentuate your gams.
